Who operates this site

This website is operated by Emerald Sports Recruitment, based in Ireland (“we”, “us” or “our”). We are responsible for the personal information you choose to send through this website.

Information we collect

If you contact us using the enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, country or location, and message. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.

The form is intended for enquiries from basketball players and their families. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian when contacting us.

How we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your goals and questions, and discuss whether we can help with a pathway to basketball opportunities in the United States. We process it for the purpose of taking steps at your request before a possible service arrangement and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing our business.

We do not use enquiry details for advertising or add you to a marketing list. Please do not send information about another person unless you are authorised to do so.

Hosting and service providers

If the site is hosted and its form is processed through Netlify, Netlify acts as a service provider to host the website and handle form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may process and store submitted information in providing those services. Its processing is governed by its own terms and privacy information. We do not currently use advertising pixels, analytics tools or other third-party form processors on this site.

Information may be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. If the hosting or form provider changes, this policy will be updated to describe the service actually used.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond to and manage the enquiry, and for any further period required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we will securely delete it or otherwise remove identifying details.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure or restriction, object to certain processing, and receive information you provided in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect earlier processing.
